About Us
Cards Galore – And More ! started life at the end of 2005 in a quaint
little Listed Building in Bull Street, Attleborough, Nuneaton. The location gave us an ideal opportunity
to make our name and to introduce ourselves to the local community, many of whom have become firm friends.
We quickly outgrew the premises and we were
introduced to our next premises in Manor Court Road, Abbey Green, by one of our Customers. However, expansion of our business meant that, in time, we outgrew
that Premises too !
We have now moved into a much more practical building in Nuneaton Town Centre, giving
easy access to those Customers driving to us from other parts of Nuneaton or, indeed, further afield. For those using
public transport, our location is absolutely ideal as we are sandwiched between the Bus Station and the Railway
Station. Many local people will know the building formally as Bansal Shoes.
Our Landlords have worked very closely with us by designing the layout of the Shop
so that it suits the needs of ourselves and, of course, our Customers.
It is bright and airy, has the benefit of central heating and a vast floor space to
make your visit both enjoyable and comfortable. We also have much better access for wheelchair users.
We run regular Workshops, a Members Discount Club, Competitions and "Natter and Scatter" Sessions, where
you bring in your own crafting items from home, and sit and make things with other crafters.
All the cards on display have been made in-house and can be bought as a gift for that special
occasion, but they also give ideas as how you can use our products as they have all been made with items sold in store.
We are Independent Retailers.
We stock what we – and our Customers - want. We are not told what the prices of our goods
must be - we set our own prices, at minimal mark-up, as this helps to keep the products moving quickly. This
enables us to replenish our stock on an on-going basis and we usually have deliveries of new items every week, so there is
always something new to see.
Our
plans for the future are to grow as we have done over the past 12 months, but never losing sight of the importance of our
Customers. We are Crafters first and foremost, and are here to introduce the delights of crafting to beginners,
and to support those of you who are already addicted – just like us !
